2021
- Organized futures planning for leadership and rebuilding our team and culture post-pandemic
- Performed a gap analysis for our Design Leadership to review then used plan for the future
- Proposed growth strategies aligned to Hilton’s Initiatives
- Hired of contingent labor
- Sourced, negotiation, and change management of new design tool
- Designed a budget, capacity, and forecast Airtable to help our leadership team visualize data about our initiatives
- Provided Experience and Product guidance for Hilton’s Property Systems, Meetings and Event Experiences, and Partnerships
2020
- Design Thinking workshops for our Property Management Systems
- Change Management planning for organizational shifts
- Disaster leadership – provided transparency and oversight during uncertain times
- Furlough 😐 – Due to Covid’s overwhelming impact on Hilton, I was on furlough for six months of the year
- Re-established my leadership in the team’s practices and evaluated the needs of my team members without being disruptive
- Established a mediation practice to help our team at large deal with the stress of Covid’s impact on our environment
- Curated playlists for employees to capture the moments we were going through during COVID recovery
- Ran employee appreciation and retention activities for my VP’s organization
- Facilitated Design Thinking exercises for Experience Design Leadership Strategies
2019
- Design Thinking workshops for our Groups, Meetings, and Events products
- Service Design and Innovation leadership for a team who worked to re-imagine on property experiences like Housekeeping, Meetings and Events, Food & Beverage, In-stay Personalization
- Human-centered design at scale – I led a transformation project for Hilton to create a more customer-centric mentality across all of Hilton’s business functions
- Design leadership for the IoT Platforms
- Future organizational design – prompted the discussion to re-evaluate our structure as we scaled our team up
- Curated and organized the first-ever Design Conference for Hilton
- Lead several Design Thinking workshops for several product teams
- Led, coached, and mentored 23 team members and contractors
- Sourced and negotiated terms to bring Mural to Hilton as a tool
2018
- Hired 10+ new UX designers and two managers, doubling our team size
- Evangelized our Design System to wider audiences so that we could progressively enhance our mobile app designs
- Built a team to redesign Hilton’s Property Management System
- Built a team to redesign Hilton’s Call Center Application
- Prompted the discussion for creating a Design Ops function for our VP’s org
- Proposed growth strategies to my leadership, including staff ratios and models to help evaluate growth in and out of our group
2017
- LedDesign Thinking workshops for our Web Platform redesign
- Built a team to redesign Hilton’s website
- Creative leadership for our web redesign – lead a team who prototyped and tested concepts
- Created plans to scale and expand our design team
- Provided Creative Leadership to the team as we rebranded Hilton’s parent branding
- Sourced and negotiated terms to bring InVision to Hilton as a tool
2016
- Led the creation and review of Hilton’s Design System, Fractal
- Led the experience strategy and design for bringing Hilton’s mobile web experience in-house
- Re-imagining Hilton’s User Journey – lead workshops to create persona’s and journeys for Hilton’s digital platforms
- Partnered with our Content Strategy team to create a friendlier tone of voice
- Pioneered the move for our Design practice to uniform tool usage, Sketch
2015

- Lead the redesign of 12 Hotel Websites
- Design of the in-language experience for 22 languages
- Created an experience to access customer’s loyalty card
- UX Leadership for Hilton’s Mobile App redesign

- Visualizing a redesign of Hilton’s Meeting planner experience online
- Designed the reconfiguration of Hilton’s Support pages data transfer
- UX Lead on the Internal Agency and helped design and redesign 15+ Hotel websites, Destination Landing Pages, Marketing Landing Pages, and Food and Beverage outlet websites
